Hunt turkeys on our 20 acres here in Grand Traverse County, plus use the property as a basecamp to hunt surrounding public access areas as well.
Our terrain features oak and pine trees, timber, and creek bottoms. Natural forage includes apple trees, grapevines, lilac bushes. We see turkey in the forest behind our house all the time, and our acreage has not been hunted since we moved here in 2021.&nbsp;
We understand that 20 acres of forest isn't the largest property a hunter could find, which is why we want to call out our close proximity to public hunting areas. The strength of our property is found pairing time spent hunting our 20 acres, along with using our location as a private basecamp to branch out and conveniently hunt nearby public access.&nbsp;

The farm is located in Zone ZE for spring turkey.
Good boots and waders are recommended for all hunters, especially as you get deeper into the property closer to the lake.
The creekbottom and wetland habitat close to Huray Lake are all surrounded by dense timber, which is solid for turkeys! Our surrounding ag fields also provide good food sources for the birds.

This property includes 50 acres of thick woods and a long open corridor, perfect for prime turkey hunting. The easy-to-access property is on a county road and less than 2 miles from I-196, but the abundance of wood area surrounding the land helps make it feel remote.&nbsp;
Hunters will most likely find Easterns in this part of Michigan. 
Three tree stands and a ground blind will be available for hunters to use. Livestock tanks are utilized on the land to maximize our wildlife habitat.&nbsp;
A two-bedroom, two-bath house that comfortably sleeps 6 is available to add to your booking. The lodging provides a full kitchen area, Wi-Fi, and amenities such as a fireplace, coffee maker, bed sheets, towels, and more! Tent camping is also available. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, South Haven is just 12.7 miles North.&nbsp;

Eastern Turkey Hunt

Our 95-acre property holds an abundant population of turkey thanks to the thick hardwood timber, cornfields, and running creek. This provides good sources of food, water, and cover that keep the wildlife close!
Tent camping is available on the property at an additional rate. For hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations, South Haven is just 3.8 miles northwest.&nbsp;
Camper provides all camping equipment necessary for their stay.

This farm property is located in Zone ZE for turkey hunting. 
Limit one bird per hunter.
This property offers a nice variety of open fields, wooded fence lines and a natural pond area. Managed as a hunting property by the previous owner, the northern half of the property is now being managed as a Christmas tree farm and includes +1,000 young spruce, fir trees and a small orchard area. The property is surrounded by neighboring pasture and row crop fields.&nbsp;
Hunters can bring out any legal decoy, calls, and blinds to use during the hunt.&nbsp;
