At Saults Ranch, we work hard to manage our property for a healthy and mature deer population. We are offering a single package for the 2022 rifle season. The experience is great for a group of 3-4 hunters. The package is a five-day, semi-guided hunt and includes lodging. During the hunt, each guest is allowed to harvest 1 muley or whitetail buck, as well as 2 whitetail does. The guide will retrieve game using a side-by-side if necessary.&nbsp;
The package is a flat $15,000.

Whitetails or Mule Deer.
This package allows for 1-9 days (depending on availability) of access during Nebraska's November Firearm deer season.&nbsp;
Our 80 acres are located in the Sandhills Unit for deer.
In addition to our privately-owned acreage with over half a mile of Niobrara riverbottom, hunters can take advantage our neighboring access to the Samuel R. McKelvie National Forest lands with additional river front.&nbsp;
Despite the smaller size of the property, we still have all the terrain to make for a good hunt. Flat country in the high ground with timbered canyons and draws as you get down into the riverbottom.
4WD or high-clearance vehicles are required to ensure access to the property. 
All hunts include free fishing in the Niobrara.

Archery Buck Hunt

To give preference to our rifle hunters, we do not permit any hunting prior to the Firearm season. This includes early season archery buck hunts.
This is a great spot to hunt deer here in northcentral Nebraska. Rolling sandhills and pivots make for excellent food sources for the ranch's deer numbers. There are several scattered tree lots and shelter belts providing great cover, especially the shelterbelts near the ranch headquarters.
The tail end of Nebraska's firearm season is the best option for our hunters here at the Krajeski Johnson Place, as all the deer are pressured onto our property from surrounding areas during opening weekend. We block out our property for hunting opening Saturday and Sunday, so the deer can find refuge here.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Our November Firearm package is set up as a flat rate of $5,000, which includes two hunters (permit holders), two deer, and seven days of hunting. You can bring along family and friends at no extra charge if you request prior to arrival and receive permission. Hunters have the option to add lodging in our bunkhouse for six nights at $150/night or $900 total.

This package allows for doe hunting access any in-season NOT within Nebraska's November Firearm deer season.&nbsp;
Our 80 acres are located in the Sandhills Unit for deer, which is also in an OPEN area for River Antlerless Private Land.
Despite the smaller size of the property, we still have all the terrain to make for a good hunt. Flat country in the high ground with timbered canyons and draws as you get down into the riverbottom.
4WD or high-clearance vehicles are required to ensure access to the property. 
All hunts include free fishing in the Niobrara.

Doe Hunt

Only available after Nebraska's Firearm Season.
***No archery buck hunts available.***
This is a great spot to hunt deer here in northcentral Nebraska, plus it's the perfect chance to fill the freezer with a doe. Ag fields and pivots make for excellent food sources for the ranch's deer numbers, plus we have some great cover with all the shelterbelts near the ranch headquarters and homestead.
No mule deer does are permitted to be taken here in the Sandhills unit.
In order to preserve our deer numbers for years to come, we will only be offering a limited number of doe hunts this Fall.&nbsp;
Our weather can be very unpredictable during the Fall with anything from 80+ degrees to a blizzard.&nbsp;
