This northwest property features over 470 acres of working cattle ranch land that sits right on top of the aquifer. Located just south of the South Dakota border in O’Neill, NE, the land is made of heavy soil with no irrigation, but features two ponds. With these fresh water sources and the multiple lakes nearby, this land is great for wildlife. Near each water source, there are oak trees and borders, with shrubs, alfalfa fields and corn fields surrounding them.&nbsp;
Our lakes are stocked with Northern Bass, Crappie and Bluegill. Meanwhile, the creeks are swarming with Brown Trout. We monitor and control the fish population to ensure it remains at a healthy level over the years.&nbsp;
We are happy to offer our bunk room above the barn, which contains six beds, a bathroom and shower. In addition, we have a full kitchen and liquor license and would be delighted to host you for supper if you’re interested. Otherwise, you are welcome to pitch a tent or stay 20 miles down the road in O’Neill or Lynch, Nebraska. We have buildings you can store and hang up your game in. We are willing to assist in retrieving any game that is difficult to access, such as in a canyon, however, we ask that you respect our time constraints with our daily work.&nbsp;
We have no minimum or maximum number of booking days. Although, we set a high bar for our sportsmen to leave no trace. We pride ourselves very much in our environmental footprint and ask you to respect the land that you are on. Our farm is proudly located in Northeastern Nebraska's Cedar County, less than 10 miles from the Missouri River and the Nebraska-South Dakota border.
Our property consists of 1,170 acres of sprawling territory: rolling hills, creek bottom, and timbered draws. 
The Bow Creek runs through a small portion of our property, plus a few other small creeks and streams in other areas of the farm. These water sources attract all kinds of wildlife, and we'll routinely see large numbers of both turkey and deer. Hunters will primarily find Whitetails out here.&nbsp;
If you're interested in camping on the property or bringing an RV, please send us an inquiry and we'd be happy to see if we can accommodate your stay. Local lodging options are available as well in Hartington (9 miles), Vermillion, SD (22 miles), and Yankton, SD (27 miles).&nbsp;

Firearm Hunt in Northeastern Nebraska's Missouri Unit

Hunt whitetails at Holmberg Farms
We rifle hunt the November deer season ourselves, but would welcome archery, muzzleloader, and late-season antlerless deer hunters. We have three elevated enclosed deer stands with heaters in addition to some ladder tree stands. 
Without lodging, the price is $250 per sportsman per day.
Holmberg Farms lies North of Bristow, Nebraska, in an area of rolling hills, wooded draws, and scenic bluffs. Our property is home to abundant wildlife populations. Three of our ponds have fish in them, although a drought in past years has them a little dry at the moment. Bass, bluegill, and crappie are the most commonly caught fish.
Our property consists of alfalfa fields, cover crop fields, food plots, wooded draws, 5 ponds, and grass pasture.&nbsp;
Lodging:
Our shed has living quarters complete with two bathrooms, a kitchen, one bedroom, one full bed, one twin bed, a TV, and room for more air mattresses.
Pickstown, Fort Randall, and the Fort Randall casino are all located within about 15 miles of the property, offering dining and lodging options.

Missouri

This unit is located in the northeastern corner of the state, adjacent to the South Dakota border. The area is predominantly made up of agricultural fields, interspersed with patches of mature hardwood trees. The undergrowth in these wooded sections provides excellent habitat for deer. The landscape is also marked by various creeks, rivers, and reservoirs. In contrast, the western half of the unit features rolling grasslands, characterized by prairie grasses and sagebrush.
