Our deer population is looking good this year. There are some great sections of timber along the creekbottom, which should be the best place to set up for bowhunters!
This piece of our Nebraska ranch consists of 320 acres with all kinds of terrain from row crops and alfalfa fields to grasslands and a timbered creekbottom. We have lots of resident wildlife.
Located here in Thayer County, we are only about 8 miles as the crow flies from the Nebraska-Kansas border. Local lodging options can easily be found in the surrounding areas for folks looking to hunt multiple days.

Hunt Whitetail at K &amp; C Farms.&nbsp;
Our whitetail population is fairly strong, and we anticipate that bowhunters will have success this Fall.&nbsp;
K &amp; C Farms is a family farming operation in Southeast Nebraska's Gage County, about 7 miles north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and 50 miles south of Lincoln.
Our property is about 155 acres of row crop fields and prairie grass. We also have some areas of dense timber, especially along the Otoe Creek, which runs through the farm.
Please inquire with any questions!
At this time, we are happy to accommodate multi-day bookings; however, guests will need to commute from Beatrice (18 miles) or Marysville, KS (19 miles). Camping and RV stays will be permitted on a case-by-case basis (dependent on season and weather). We are also within a mile of the Big Indian Recreation Area, which has camping and RV spots available.

Blue Southeast

Located in the southeastern corner of the state, adjacent to Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri, this unit is known for its strong deer populations and excellent hunting opportunities, especially for bucks. The landscape primarily consists of agricultural fields, interspersed with patches of mature hardwoods. In the south-central portion of the unit, you'll find a significant area of mostly undeveloped land, characterized by rolling grass slopes and timbered bottoms and draws. Record-book entries have been documented throughout the unit, with notable areas including Gage, Jefferson, Otoe, and Richardson counties.
