Hunt elk here in northeastern Wyoming.&nbsp;
We have over 1,350 acres of private land in Weston County. In addition to our private ground, we are bordered by a large chunk of BLM lands. We have two parcels that border the South Dakota state line as well, providing direct access to the Black Hills National Forest. The ranch hunts large!
Habitat is classic terrain synonomous with the Black Hills, including timbered ridges, rugged draws, and natural springs. Elk are prevalent in this region, with ample glassing points and opportunities to put stalks on bulls.&nbsp;
The ranch is located in Unit 117.

WY Unit 117 Elk Hunt - Timbered Ridges & Rugged Draws

We will only be offering cow hunts later in the season: November - January. No cow hunts in October.
Hunters can enjoy exclusive access to our NE Wyoming ranchland for a chance to fill the freezer with a cow elk. 5 out of our 6 of our 2025 cow hunters were succesful. (83% success rate)
The ranch is located in Unit 129 for elk.
Cow elk hunt for 3 days for up to 4 hunters.
Included offerings:
Our family’s rustic 1950’s cabin which sleeps 8.
<ul>
<li>The cabin consists of 4 rooms; 2 bedrooms with 3 beds in each, fully made with sheets and blankets, and 2 rooms for eating and lounging.</li>
<li>There is a woodstove kitchen, an outdoor firepit made for campfire cooking and a propane grill. Last but not least, we have a modern outhouse built in 2024. Firewood for the wood stove/campsite and propane fuel for the grill are included.</li>
</ul>
Each hunter is welcome to bring one non-hunter at no additional cost.
Coyote hunting is also included as is prairie dog hunting if the weather is nice enough for them to still be out.

Big country. Varied habitat. Rolling grassland, sagebrush steppe, creekbottom, livestock tanks + ranch reservoirs, rough timber breaks, and steep ridges. The ranch just about has it all.

Overland truck and tent camping is available as well. No hookups.

NOTE ON ELK HUNTING IN WY UNIT 129: Unit 129 is largely private land for DIY hunters (a good thing if you have 15,000 acres like we do 😉). My brother, a nonresident hunter, has been able to successfully apply and draw a tag for the past 3 years with no points. Our elk population and acreage make this unit a good draw option for nonresidents!
Bull elk hunt for 5 days for up to 4 hunters.
