Our experience with Leigh, Alan, and the entire team at L'Terre was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, their hospitality and unforgettable adventures made our alligator hunting trip genuinely one-of-a-kind. Not only was the food delicious, but they also turned what could have been a daunting activity into something incredibly safe, educational, and exhilarating for the entire group! Before we started, we were treated to an insightful briefing on alligator history, conservation efforts, and the significance of managing their populations. It set the tone for what turned into a fun adventure! From driving across the terrain in ATVs to approaching the traps and the moment of truth—taking the shot—it was non-stop excitement! After the thrill of the hunt, we sat down for a fantastic lunch at a scenic spot. This was followed by a barn tour, where we met show cows, chickens, and ducks. It was a relaxing and informative experience for everyone! I took lots of photos and shared them with my 6-year-old daughter, who wants to go back and visit the barn, haha! At the end of the day, we went on a second alligator hunt and took down a massive 12-foot gator! It was an incredible team effort to haul it onto the truck, a moment everyone celebrated with pride. We closed the day with a delicious dinner back at the lodge, sharing stories and drinks with everyone! If I could rate this experience a 12 out of 10, I would. It’s an absolute must for anyone seeking an all-inclusive adventure on a stunning property. You won’t just go alligator hunting—you’ll create memories for a lifetime!
