Deer make good use of the property’s elevation changes and thick timber for bedding, with movement patterns often following the creek bottom and ridgelines. The natural funnels created by logging trails and terrain breaks offer productive setups throughout the fall season.
Our box blind is probably the best way to approach the hunt for both archery and firearm hunters.
Property is part of New York’s WMU 3A just 1.5 Hours from Albany and 2 Hours from NYC!
The terrain is classic Catskill country: rolling timbered hills, dense creek bottoms, and a smaller meadow set with a box blind that offers ready-made opportunity. Old logging trails wind through the woods, providing access by foot or ATV. Dry Brook runs along one side, while a natural spring flanks another. These consistent water sources, paired with native forage and ample cover, support healthy populations of big and small game throughout the season.

Our property is best-suited for whitetail come Autumn in New York. Not only are the views scenic, but this is a great chance for whitetail hunters looking to have a spot all to themselves. I'm not opposed to popup blinds and mobile stands, as long as you're not nailing anything to the trees.
Archery and responsible firearm use is permitted!

Otsego County Whitetail Hunt | Unit 4F

We are located in NYS DEC Wildlife Management Unit 4O.
Partake in any legal deer hunting season. The property has a consistant amount of moderate to large racked bucks (6-10 points). Plenty of does as well. You have access to any of the two elevated box blinds and the ladder stands and all of the ~115 acres. You are also welcome to set up your own tree stands as well. We are located in NYS WMU 4O for your deer management permits (Doe Permit). We are also open to give a complimentary, scheduled tour of the property before you book so that you can determine if it fits your needs.
Access to the property is from two parking locations on the Northwest side of the property. These give you easy access to the trail system and all that the forest has to offer. You may also park at our house at the southern tip and access the the trails from there. You are welcome to bring your 4x4s and/or side x sides to more easily access the property. We understand that you are here for the hunting and not to turn the property into an off road track.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Whitetail Deer Hunting - WMU 4O

Welcome to Broome County, NY!
Our 15+ acres make for a productive honey hole with consistent whitetail activity and a nice stand available for hunters to take advantage of!
Whitetails use the thick timber for bedding and rely on the rolling terrain to move through the property. Well-defined trails cut through the cover, and deer are especially active at dawn and dusk as they transition between bedding and feeding areas. The existing stand provides a solid vantage over one of these corridors, with fresh sign confirming steady deer activity throughout the season.
Located just 20 minutes from Binghamton and 5 minutes from the PA border, part of New York's WMU 4O.
The inactive bluestone quarry is off-limits except for tracking or retrieving game.
Primitive camping is allowed, with nearby lodging, supplies, and restaurants in Windsor, Binghamton, and Deposit.

We request a 2-day minimum on all bookings. Full-season leases are available, just inquire with us. We can get the deal done, if we don't have any other hunters booked.
Unit 6K is the southernmost unit in New York's Northern hunting Zone.
If interested in bringing more than 2 sportsmen, please inquire. I will do my best to accommodate your request, by taking into account how many animals I'm ok with being harvested.
Bring your muck boots and waders as conditions can be very wet.

Unit 6R Whitetail Doe Hunt - Freezer Filler Opportunities

Hunt whitetail bucks here in Herkimer County.
The farm is located in Unit 6R, which is part of New York's Southern Zone.
Deer move through the orchard and alfalfa regularly, with heavy doe activity. We have a doe problem, so we have a discounted doe package available. Bucks tend to be smarter and spend most of the daytime back in the steep wooded area of the farm near the creek.

The combination of mixed timber and thick undergrowth creates an ideal habitat for whitetail. With natural bedding cover and plentiful browse, deer move consistently through the property, using the established trails as travel corridors. Hunters can take advantage of the varied terrain to set up near dense pine stands or along the wide trail that cuts through the back third of the land.
We are located in Zone 7A.
We have one blind, one stand, and two game cameras. We will try to update the listing as new photos of deer come through.

 Zone 7A Whitetail Hunt – Pines, Trails & Quiet Cover

We have about 25+ solid acres of wooded cover, with a portion of the Birdsall Brook that runs through the woods.&nbsp;
Deer will bed in the timber, and then move into the pasture in the early mornings and late evenings to mill around and feed. The brushy edges of the pasture and timber provide good bedding cover, and the pasture acts as a consistent food source. Morning hunts near the brook or evening sits overlooking the pasture have proven to be productive setups for our family.
Farm is 62 acres, located in New York's WMU 7M about 30 minutes north of Binghamtom. 
Freedom Farms has a compact footprint but hunts well thanks to the varied terrain and clear transitions between open ground and dense cover. Camping is permitted, so you're welcome to settle in for a longer hunt.

WMU 7M Whitetail Sit: Birdsall Brook & Woods

The hayfields and creekbottom are a hotspot for deer.&nbsp;
Deer cruise between the wooded cover in the bottom and the hay pasture, especially in the evenings. The brushy edges of the pasture and timber provide good bedding cover, and the hay fields act as a consistent food source. Morning hunts along the creek or evening sits overlooking the pasture have proven to be productive setups for our family.
Farm is 48 acres, located in New York's WMU 7M about 30 minutes north of Binghamtom. 
We seed the 15-acre pasture for hay each year, so there’s a steady food source drawing deer in from surrounding cover. Though we don’t graze livestock here, the natural forage, brushy edges, and timber stands provide everything whitetails need to bed, feed, and cruise through the property comfortably. Roughly 400 yards of creek bottom winds through the woods, offering water, cover, and a natural travel corridor, especially during early mornings and late-season cold snaps.
