Hunt South Dakota Merriams at K Mill Iron Ranch.
We have about 470 acres of grassy pastureland, with ponds and small patches of timber.
Nestled in the scenic Colome, SD, the K Mill Iron Ranch is a sustainable farming operation that raises pigs, lambs, & poultry in a pasture-based environment.
We've set our packages up to be an affordable DIY option in a county that widely consists of high-end guided outfits. If you're not looking for the outfitter route, take a look at our packages and reach out with any questions!

Unit 60A Merriam's Turkey Hunt | DIY Gobbler Action Near Winner

Turkeys are a nuisance for us and neighboring farmers. Our cams will consistently catch flocks in the hundreds!
We can provide a caller if that interests you and your group for an additional fee. The successful harvest pictures were from sportsmen who worked with the caller to get their bird within 5 yards!!!
We are located in Zone 60A for turkeys, which is part of the Prairie Spring Turkey Unit.
Hunters must apply for the Prairie Turkey tag, which becomes available in January. It's a tougher draw; however, once leftover tags become available, it's very easy to get a tag!

Hunters can pursue wild turkeys across the legendary prairies of our ranch’s acres. With varying terrain such as fields, creeks and rolling hills, all surrounded by our rich crop grounds, our ranch is sure to make your turkey hunt a success.
Please inquire if interested in using the lodge. It's only worth our time to open the lodge in the Spring for a large group, so please inquire and we can see if we can accommodate you. Otherwise, the town of Winner provides decent options for hotels and airbnbs!
