How LandTrust works
Short-term hunting leases
LandTrust connects hunters with farmers and ranchers who open their land a few days at a time. Book the property for your dates, pay for just that trip, and the land is yours alone while you’re there.
Find your ground
Browse properties by species, location and dates. Listings show acreage, maps, lodging and reviews from other hunters.
Book your dates
Pick a package, message the landowner with questions, and pay online. No year-long lease, no club dues.
Hunt it alone
No other parties on the property while you’re booked. Check in with the landowner, learn the boundaries, and go hunt.
Traditional hunting lease
- Full season or year, paid up front
- Found through a friend, outfitter or club
- Shared with every lease member, all season
- Locked into one property
LandTrust booking
- A single day up to about a week, paid per trip
- Search, compare and book online
- Only your party on the land, on your dates
- Hunt a different property every trip
Why hunt private
Private land hunting in Arkansas
Public land gets crowded once the season opens, and game moves onto private ground to avoid the pressure. Private land holds much of the best habitat, and booking it means you’re the only party out there.

No crowds on your dates
Walk-in and public access programs are great, but popular spots fill up fast. A LandTrust booking gives your party the whole property for the trip.
Arranged with the landowner
You need a landowner’s permission to hunt private land. Booking through LandTrust arranges it directly, with no cold calls or handshake deals.

Frequently Asked Questions
LandTrust is an online marketplace for booking private land hunting access. Farmers, ranchers, and other landowners list their property and set their own packages, prices, and dates. Hunters book exclusive access for anything from a single day to about a week, without needing to know a landowner or sign a year-long lease.
With a traditional hunting lease, you usually pay up front for a full season or year, often splitting the cost and the property with a hunting club. On LandTrust you book by the trip instead: pick only the dates you want, have the whole property to your group, and skip the year-long commitment. That makes it easier to hunt more places, and new places, without tying your budget to a single lease.
