LandTrust is an online marketplace for booking access to private land. Farmers, ranchers and other landowners list their property and set their own packages, prices and dates for hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor trips.

What can I do on private land through LandTrust?

It depends on the property. Landowners list packages for hunting, fishing, bird watching, foraging, camping, farm stays and more. Each listing shows the activities it offers, the packages, the price and the available dates.

How does booking private land work?

Search by state, county or activity, compare properties and packages, and pick your dates. You pay when you book, and you can message the landowner from the listing with any questions.

Will other people be on the property during my trip?

During your booking, you and your party have exclusive access to the property for the package you booked.

How much does it cost to book private land?

Landowners set their own prices. Each package shows its starting price per guest, and the total depends on the number of guests, the dates and any lodging you add.

October is one of the best months to hunt feral hogs in Mississippi. Weather has cooled off, food plots are planted, and feeders are up and running. If you want to get a quick hunt in before deer season kicks into high gear, now is the time.

Stacey as always was very helpful. Cabin was rustic but pleasant and peaceful. Did have more birds gobbling this year versus last year. Hear birds gobbling every morning we hunted just couldn't any to come in close enough to shoot. Still too many hens to content with (my excuse). Maybe more time and more patience. Overall a good trip just no kill. Will return next year.

This was my second year hunting with Daniel. He is a great host and has an exceptional property. Good turkey numbers. He manages the habitat. Great road system around the property. Daniel checked in on us daily via text but left us to enjoy the cabin and the property. Thanks Daniel!!

Our time was with Daniel was short lived but we had a great time. I hope to find some time next year to book a longer stay and I highly recommend booking with him. He was a great host and his property was fantastic.

We had another great trip to Shady Pines - our third year in a row. In addition to enjoying the hunting, Daniel and his family are top notch people to be around.
