The Otter Creek winds through the heart of the property, creating a highway for both whitetail and turkey, along with live water for waterfowl during the migration seasons. The ag ground doubles as high-quality forage and late-season food sources, making evening hunts along these field edges productive. The CRP fields offer dense cover, while the creek also provides cover and bedding.
This is a great property for hunters coming from Des Moines or from up north in the Twin Cities (less than 2.5 hrs away).
While we don't have any on-site lodging or camping opportunities available, there are some local airbnbs, including my aunt's guest house. Please reach out, and I can connect you.
