We are excited to invite waterfowl hunters to hunt our farm ground in Ellsworth County. Our acreage features a few nice ponds in addition to ag fields that produce good food sources for ducks and geese in the Fall.
Bird dogs are welcome!&nbsp;

Hunt the Alexander Ranch.
The property features wide open prairies and wetlands, including fourteen ponds, which are perfect for waterfowl hunts.&nbsp;
While we do have water on the property, our biggest body of water is 2.5 acres. We've found that it's not enough to support a huge population of ducks and geese. Sportsmen will probably have some luck, but should not expect to limit out.
Best opportunities will probably be early season when the teal come through!

Alexander Ranch

Hunt for ducks and geese in the ponds on our property.&nbsp;
At this time there is no lodging or camping access on the property.&nbsp;

Walnut River Waterfowl

Come hunt waterfowl at Long Pumpkin Patch. The acreage comprises small trees, ag fields, CRP, gardens, bushes, flat terrain, and a pumpkin patch.

RV camping is available on our property. If you decide to stay elsewhere Great Bend is only 4 miles south and offers hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and more.&nbsp;

Long Pumpkin Patch

Hunt for ducks and geese in our multiple ponds and harvested ag fields.
Lots of waterfowl travel this area on their annual migration. The ranch is conveniently located between Lovewell, Waconda, and Kirwin Lakes. Also, take advantage of hunting both the Kansas Low Plains Late, and Low Plains Early Zones with the ranch being situated between both- thus the avid Waterfowler can make the most of the season!&nbsp;&nbsp;
Our fully furnished hunting lodge comfortably sleeps 8 and is available with our packages. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a kitchen area, shower, and more! RV and tent camping is also available.&nbsp;

Pheasant Run Ranch

Janssen Ranch

Duck Hunt

Routinely every February, hundreds and hundreds of snow geese have routinely been landing in our fields. We would expect goose and duck hunters to have a great experience here!
***Snow Geese Season is open until the end of April with no limit on how many you can harvest.***

Long Farms

A beautiful 9-acre pond and a smaller 1-acre pond are just a short walk from the cabin. It is not uncommon to see a plethora of ducks on the water at once.&nbsp;

There is a cabin available to use for lodging on the land. It comfortably sleeps 6 and has a kitchen, garbage area, and shower. Pratt is 25 minutes away and provides hotels, restaurants, and grocery. A gas station is located in-between just 5 minutes North.&nbsp;

Painter Creek Cabin

The mix of ponds, tall surrounding grass/trees, and cattails make for a stellar waterfowl habitat.&nbsp;
Turtle Creek State Park and Lake is very close to the property and has a recreation area with RV hookups. RV and tent camping access is also permitted on our land.&nbsp;

Gugenhan Farms

Our two ponds are fenced off from cattle and provide lots of grassy cover.
The ponds are within walking distance from the house.
A 1-bedroom 1-bathroom open floor cabin that sleeps up to four is available for lodging on the property. RV camping with electric and water hookups, and tent camping are also available.&nbsp;

Diamond J Ranch

Duck and Geese Hunt 

Brackett Ranch is pleased to offer waterfowl hunts for up to 4 sportsmen.&nbsp;
I would ask that each booking has a minimum of two sportsmen for safety purposes.
I LOVE youth hunters! Kids under 12 are free!
$25 per night to camp on the property. Inquire if interested, and I will send a special offer.

Brackett Ranch

Waterfowl Hunt | 2 Sportsmen Minimum

Hunt geese and ducks on our two ponds and wetland habitat along the Tar Creek!
The creek, true to its name, creates a thick boggy habitat when there's lot of water. Whether you're hunting earlier or later in the season, boots and waders are recommended.&nbsp;
Bird dogs are permitted, and hunters are welcome to bring out mobile blinds and decoys to give themselves the best chance of success.
The farm represents the southeast zone for ducks, and goose hunting is permitted statewide here in Kansas.
We appreciate our veterans and all youth hunters as well. Please inquire for discounts on daily hunting rates.
