This should be an excellent destination for turkey hunters this spring. Along the edges of our ag fields, we have dense timber, making for the perfect place to set up a blind and call them in.
Turkey Hunters will most likely see Easterns in this part of Kansas with the chance of a Hybrid here and there.

Gardner Farms is pleased to offer a DIY Turkey Hunt for hunters this Spring. We have an excellent population of birds.
Firearm and Archery permitted.
Turkey hunters can expect to most likely encounter Easterns in this part of Kansas.

Farm acreage is surrounded by tree lines and grassy areas perfect for wildlife.
For an additional cost, a guide is possible if personnel are available. Please place an inquiry as to our availability.

Lodging:
Lodging in our 5-bedroom house will be on a first-booked, first-served basis, since it’s available as an option on all of our listings. The entire house can sleep a group of 10. If you book the house, your group will be the only group during your dates. This is not a Bed and Breakfast, or a lodge, but rather a short term rental home. No meals are included but the home has fully equipped kitchen. You will be able to utilize a full processing area and freezer. Prior to booking, feel free to check with us to see if the house is available.&nbsp;
RV (no hookups) and dry truck-camping access will be available as well if the house has been booked, but you’re still looking to stay on-site.

Our 3 parcels of property hold a healthy population of turkey thanks to our habitat of ag. fields, tall grass, water, and woods.&nbsp;
Turkey hunting will only be available on our far East 160-acre parcel. 
Per NWTF, Rios will be the most likely subspecies you'll encounter on the property here in Butler County. There's always the chance you'll run into a hybrid or Easterns as populations fluctuate year to year.
RV and tent camping access can be added to our packages. Hotels, food, grocery, gas: El Dorado, Kansas - 13.9 miles | Wichita, Kansas - 43.8 miles
