This should be an excellent destination for turkey hunters this spring. Along the edges of our ag fields, we have dense timber, making for the perfect place to set up a blind and call them in.
Turkey Hunters will most likely see Easterns in this part of Kansas with the chance of a Hybrid here and there. 		
Our 70 acres here in Miami County is a great option for hunters in the Kansas City area looking for their next local honey hole. Located about 45 minutes from the city, we are an easy-highway-drive away from a great population of turkeys and excellent habitat that you'll have all to yourself during your booking.
Our property consists of ag fields surrounded by timber. Our property is directly adjacent to thick woods and a creekbottom, so hunters may have luck calling them in from the neighbors.
Being this close to the Missouri border here in Eastern Kansas, turkey hunters will most likely encounter Easterns on our property. The birds are smart, which makes for a great hunt and challenge for hunters.&nbsp;
Our turkey package is set up with a minimum of two sportsmen as we try to avoid having people out by themselves for safety purposes.

The property is located right outside of Louisberg, KS, and less than a mile from the Missouri border.&nbsp;
We are opening 207 acres of the farm for turkey hunting and fishing. We have an abundance of turkeys! The landscape features thick pockets of timber, open pasture and ag fields, slight rolling hills, and ponds. At this time, no lodging is available; however, our proximity to Kansas City and other nearby towns make it easy for guests commuting to the property from the area's nearby hotels.&nbsp;
We also have a pond available with bluegill and largemouth bass that can make for a great day of fishing, once again, close enough to the city, that you can escape for the afternoon.

Hunters are most likely to encounter Easterns on the property; although, as populations fluctuate, it's possible you'll see Rios or Hybrids.&nbsp;
Our thick shelter belts, tall grasslands, and multiple water sources create a welcoming turkey habitat. One of those water sources is Willow Creek, which flows down the middle of the western parcel.
A 1-bedroom 1-bathroom open floor cabin that sleeps up to four is available for lodging on the property. RV camping with electric and water hookups, and tent camping are also available.&nbsp;

The ground is mostly made up of cropland with small brushy idents and a small stream with timber that cuts through the property. The southeastern edge of the farm is thick timber on a creekbed as well. The acreage is only 5 minutes from the town of Paola.

Turkeys roost in the scattered timber on both parcels, particularly near the water on the 80 and along the creek banks on the 120. The combination of open fields and wooded travel lanes makes for a great opportunity to bag a Kansas Tom!&nbsp;
Hunters will have access to both tracts of land for hunting. No lodging included. However, for an additional fee you are able to set up a tent on the property. We are happy to provide assistance to ensure you have a good experience!&nbsp;
The properties are located in Unit 6 for turkey.
The 80-acre parcel is primarily native grasses, scattered ponds, and about 3 acres worth of mature tree cover. Our neighbors to the east have plenty of cover, so wildlife will move through this parcel frequently to get to and from the cover. The three ponds provide a solid water source.
Just a short drive away, the 180-acre tract offers a wide-open feel with rolling pasture bisected by the South Big Creek that serves as a key travel corridor for both deer and turkey. The riparian zone offers shaded bedding areas and movement routes, particularly during the rut or spring gobbler season. Native grasses add concealment while still allowing enough visibility to glass and pattern movement, especially around the creek draws. The creekbottom cover represents about 18 acres of the tract.
Access across both parcels is straightforward, with open pastureland and manageable terrain suitable for ATV use or vehicle access in fair conditions. Whether you're posting up near water on the 80 or catching cruising bucks along the creek on the 120, these tracts offer complementary hunting setups within a quick drive of one another.
Property is about 45 minutes from Emporia and about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Kansas City.
