Unit 15 Walk-in Whitetail Hunt - Crops & Tree Rows Near Wichita

The livestock tank, in addition to the small creekbottoms on both our quarter sections, attracts whitetails as they cruise through the surrounding ag fields. The tall grasses found on the property can make for decent bedding areas as well.
We do have a tree stand available on the property.	
This is a first-generation farm near Hutchinson, Kansas. With just under 500 acres, our farm is a great location for Kansas whitetail and upland bird hunting. The farm consists of two quarter sections and is located less than 20 minutes from Hutchinson and just over 30 minutes from Wichita. This makes our farm an excellent local spot for hunters looking for a good hunting option close to home.&nbsp;
The property also features a small creekbed that cuts through both of our quarter sections. Along the creek, we have small to medium-sized trees, which are another source of cover.
We are open to guests looking for overnight stays; however, with our close proximity to nearby cities, guests can also choose to book hotel rooms as well.

Just south of Derby and only about 15 minutes from Wichita, Rockford Farm Kansas offers a conveniently accessible escape for sportsmen looking to get in a solid hunt without a long drive. 
Our family-owned alfalfa and winter wheat fields are located in Kansas Unit 15 for whitetail.&nbsp;
Whitetail hunters will find strong activity thanks to the farm’s FOOD SOURCES. The property experiences heavy deer traffic, especially along tree lines that run between our alfalfa and wheat fields. Bowhunters can catch bucks as they cruise in and out of the fields to feed. We do have feeders and mineral blocks on the farm as well, PLUS over 1.25 miles-worth of food plots along major deer paths on the property.
A patchwork of pasture, winter wheat, and mature tree lines provides dependable habitat, while surrounding ag fields help fuel consistent wildlife movement through the area.
Our family is eager to host folks this season!
Safety Note: Mountain lion sightings have recently been reported in the area. We'd like to ask our sportsmen to always stay aware, particularly when hunting solo.
