SW KS Deer Hunt – 3,000 Acres of Crop & CRP Land in Unit 18

This hunt will allow you to bow hunt for mule deer and whitetail deer. Hunts are available for as short as one day and up to 60 days. Set up for the season or make a weekend trip. Come explore this diverse property and the deer that inhabit it.
This tract contains a mix of expired CRP and native grass. Part of the property has been grazed by cattle but some remains ungrazed. Mule deer consistently cross the property from the creek to the west to the fields on the east.
We are located in Unit 18 for deer.

Kansas Archery Deer Hunt Unit 18 - CRP & Native Grass Mix

Our Greene Ranch tract is 6 contiguous sections, totaling 4,200+ acres. The terrain is rolling hills with quite a few deep draws around the creek and some sage brush and plum thickets for cover, making this a prime rifle spot for deer hunters. We have both mule deer and whitetail on this property; however, whitetail tags might be easier to draw.
We will only be offering one hunt this season, with one potential harvest permitted. This property has a lot of potential when it comes to bigger bucks, and we'd like to steward that well by offering just the one hunt this Fall. Bookings are first come-first served.
A hunter can book anywhere from 3 days to the full 12-day rifle season.

This 1,675-acre chunk of ground is located northeast of Meade. The property is made up ag pivots, upland grasses, and bottomland creek. Best deer opportunity will be in the bottomland, with the chance of catching bucks as they cruise in and out of the food sources.

This arid prairie unit in the southwestern corner of the state is home to whitetail and mule deer. The land in this region is generally flat to slightly rolling, though there are some hilly areas that are not suitable for farming. There are also a few cliffs that overlook the Cimarron River, which is the main drainage for the area.
