Kansas whitetail hunters are invited to the farm this Fall.
We are located in Unit 8 for deer.
This farm is best suited for rifle hunters who are willing to set up in a popup blind over the ag fields. Cover is VERY limited. Ag fields are productive for the deer as they come into feed.
Our Northwest parcel consists of 315 acres of rolling ag fields and shelterbelts.

We are located in Unit 8 for deer.
We have a game cam set up on property, that routinely sees bucks pass through.
The Lindsey Creek winds through the acreage. Solid tree cover can be found following the creek. This is a highly productive area for hunting, especially with our ag fields that can be found on both sides of the timbered creekbottom.

5-Day Whitetail Buck Hunt - KS Unit 8 |30 Minutes from Manhattan

Kansas whitetail hunters are invited to the farm this Fall.
We are located in Unit 8 for deer.
The property is about 93% open ag fields. The eastern border of the farm has multiple patches of tree cover that will provide cover for the deer as they move to and from the fields to feed. Part of the timber cover is a highly productive staging or bedding area for deer... this area is marked on our map! The property is probably best-suited for rifle hunters that can set up on opposite sides of the fields and waiting for the deer to move from the tree cover into the ag fields. Bowhunters may have a tougher go, unless you set up in popup blind that can get you close enough to the timber without detection.
About the Property:
Our Ottawa County parcel consists of 395 acres of ag fields lined with timber and stream bottoms. The farm features wide open pivot grounds and row crops, in addition to a highly productive open area-almost a meadow of sorts-that serves as an ideal staging and bedding area for whitetails and turkeys. The farm features a brushy ditch that cuts through the southern pivot that is primed for dove and quail. All of our ground is surrounded by ag-producing fields.

Renowned for its whitetail hunting, this unit near the Nebraska border boasts a healthy deer population. Stretching north of Interstate 70 from Salina to just south of Manhattan in the west, it offers diverse hunting opportunities. Most deer are harvested in and around woodlands, which range from narrow strips of riparian trees and brushy undergrowth to broader bands of timber and small to medium-sized woodlots.
